Discovering Street Art in Wynwood - Collective tour

An artists' quarter since the 1980s, Wynwood did not become easily accessible to the public until the mid-2000s. It is now a playground for local and international street artists and also THE trendy place in Miami with its many festivals, designer markets, galleries and concerts! During these 2 hours of walking tour, your French guide will make sure to give you all the information about this open-air museum: - Art is in the street: Street art has many forms, which we can all observe in Wynwood. Can you tell them apart? - Freedom of expression and political commitment: The large murals in the neighborhood are also a way for artists to deliver messages that are almost entirely free. - Factories, breweries and Garment District: NW 5th street, once the economic heart of the district, comes back to life today thanks to artists' collectives and events that are organized there. - Around the Wynwood Building: Do you want to stop in front of the most emblematic building in the neighborhood? For foodies, this part of the circuit offers delicious possibilities. - Wynwood, residential district: If the trendy Wynwood evolves in the district of old warehouses, the district is also residential. Artists, families lend themselves to the game of street art. - Art is not only in the street: In art galleries or designer shops, art is also displayed in these spaces, in which you can find THE unique memory. ***INFO*** - Schedule: Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 10:00 am - No visit on 25/12 and 01/01 and Thanksgiving Thursday (4th Thursday of November) - 2 hour collective walking tour with a local French guide. - Tip not included - This tour is wheelchair accessible with an adapted circuit.
